X chocks, duh
Second shakedown trip on 3rd AS and learned lesson I should have known better. I bought X chocks since I have two axles now. First trip was full hook up, flat pad. As before used regular chocks. This time at pretty flat pad but was a bit inclined in front and to one side. Total failure trying to get low side wheels leveled with yellow plastic squares and had chocked wheel on just one side while I was screwing up leveling
So, tv unhitched and jack on those same plastic blocks as a nice guy in SOB walks over to ask if he can help. Wife and dog in AS and the jacks slides off the blocks and the round foot busts off and cylinder in on the asphalt AS did not move any further, thank heavens
So Nice Guy (he really is) told me when there is an incline he uses these things and points to his X chocks. Just like the new ones i have with me, unused
Bottle jack up, inspect the wayward round jack part and see that it has a bolt and nut laying there. I screw it in and all back together
It was loose already and enough stupidity from me and collapse
Damn, I am lucky
