40 Footers... Everywhere on the Internet

I know... all of a sudden there are lots of 40 foot Southern Pacific Railroad Airstreams.

Two Threads on the AirForums:

Got Briards- 08-26-2014 - '1963 Southern Pacific Crew Airstream'

PeeWee- 01-19-2009 - 'Vintage Airstream built for Southern Pacific Railroad'

These come with photographs.

It does get me curious as well. There is a Grand Canyon Railroad service operating west of Flagstaff, Arizona. It could be my imagination, which there is excess... but I thought there was some long Airstream sitting out there, just north of the Highway. It makes sense... but I am not looking for a vintage Airstream.

33 ft south pacific railroad airstream

Ive actually have a 33 ft southern pacific airstream very very rare only 2 known to survive. This one is extra rare because it has wood interior skin. Airstream and timeless traveler are both interested in buying looking to sell in the 50k range new tires in the process of deoxidizing shell interior being deep cleaned. Def for the serious airstream collector. For pics or vid call 541 530 6991.

Those old bowling machines came in all different lengths, so for your next project you could use a 30ft shell to build your own! A friend had a14ft bowler in his basement for years, very cool!
