Yes I am a Bears fan. They might go 6-10 this year. Nothing to cheer about here. Do you have a composing toilet? How do you wash/brush teeth etc. Im sure the facility's water must be shut off. I get it, the part about saving money. Definitely a good thing. We got snowed on in Montana in October. We laughed, but when it was time to turn off the propane, we got out, asap. I really do wish you luck with your adventure and good luck to your daughters basketball games.

I think he was talking about the camp ground operator would have a lot of frozen pipes to work on. That's a reason to close.

So many posts in this thread speculating the water will be turned off.

Kohler-Andrae has signs all over the park pointing to the “winter water supply.” They don’t turn the water off.

When we were up there some of the parks had freeze proof hydrants, some didn't .

As it will be cold in Wisconsin I was just wondering if you thought about going to Florida and commuting from there.

There are a few Harvest Host sites between Milwaukee and Green Bay. We stayed at LaClare Farms (800 goats!) and it was a great stopover: restaurant and a small market with coffee and goat cheese.

Interstate Fair Gounds West Allis

I recommend the interstate fair grounds in West Allis, WI. Full hook ups. Just West of Miller Park and just off the interstate.
