Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary Ramah,N.M.

I want to thank "Eubank" for giving us a heads up on these people. We spent several days there and could have stayed more. The campground does not have hook-ups. They have water available, showers, and out houses. El Morrow is close by and a must see. At night the wolves do a serenade at no extra cost. For those who like to dry camp, this is well worth the effort. 4CU people take note, might be a good spot for a rally.

Wild Spirit is a really neat place, isn't it?

If you drive just a mile or so beyond the turn-off to El Morro, you'll find the Ancient Way Cafe (and El Morro RV park). Nothing fancy at the RV park, though certainly less primitive than the sites available at the sanctuary. But the green-chili cheeseburgers are great at the Cafe! If we hadn't been so full, we would have tried their pies as well!

El Morro also has a small campground. We might fit our 30' into one or two of the sites, but with no reservations possible, it's a bit hit-or-miss.

Yes, we saw both but wanted to stay at the sanctuary. Primative doesn't bother us. Actually a bit better than Quartsite.

I'm just glad those wolves are not wild and are fenced. That's where they need to stay. Never know when they could get loose and eat a small AS camper person or their pet.
