Camping on the Battenkill, Arlington, Vt, 1st Annual sibling weekend. , already planning our next gathering. I saw the brand new 30' bunkhouse here, beautiful site, maybe someday for me.

Last trip for us this season :-(
Next year, as many New England Unit WBCCI rallies as we can fit in and as many short weekends close to home as possible. This is the BEST investment I've ever made!
(Daisy's not an investment, but she's the world's most delicious little camp buddy!!! )

Traded in the title, owner's brief case and our 2013 25FB International Serenity on a 2014 Classic 30 to be built in January. Took me an hour or so to get the Hensley uninstalled by myself.

We are new members of the WBCCI New England Unit! We went to our first rally last weekend...Oktoberfest in New Hampton, NH. Loved it! We too are looking forward to next seasons'' rallies. So far we have registered for the "Sagadahoc Bay" and "Black Fly" rallies for next year.

We will start our day at Poverty point Reservoir State Park in Delhi, LA.
Then we will travel to Salmon Lake Park in Grapeland, TX.

I love this time of the year, color, cool, great break from long hot TX summer. We're home however after spending 5 of the last 8 weeks in the NM mountains. Getting my Boykin Spaniels ready for annual pheasant hunt in SD--no airstream on that trip. Next camp, Thanksgiving and the week after on the TX coast at Port Aransas, the dogs and I through in a little duck hunting there also. Everyone enjoy in the fall colors and drive safe.

Last trip of the season for us, too!
Along the Clark Fork River, Thompson Falls, Montana - a beautiful Indian Summer weekend with sunny days, highs in the mid-upper 50s and Huckleberry ice-cream along the way. This next week, it will be drain, winterize, and blow-out-chores, until spring!
(Don't know why the picture is upside down! It shows up right side up on our computer... must be our slooww wifi! Maybe a mod can fix it...)

I found if I reduced the image size before uploading, the image would stay in the proper orientation. I shoot for a 3 x 5 format at 72 dpi.

Just put our second home on the market, anticipate our new Airstream may fill that void, and looking forward to adding many posts on our own camping adventures next year. Heck, I am told this may accelerate my retirement date to the next year or two.
