One of the local grocery store has a printed coupon (on the back of the store's receipt) from a oil company that:
Gives .10 cents off per gallon up to 20 gallons. The good news is, you can redeem more than one at a time..Hmmmm
Local grocery chain here gives .20 off p/g (30gal max), for every $50 you spend in their store, at their gas pumps. They also sell gift cards with the same deal. It's not to hard for me to spend $500 a week at Home Depot. Works out to a $60 discount on my 30gal fill up. I always bring a 5gal can, just to make sure I get the full 30 gallons. A lot of people bring 3 or 4. (Your accumulated discount applies to 1 fill-up, be it 15gal, or 30.) Not to hard to take..........

Current price's in beautiful downtown Chardon, Diesel 3.14, Reg. 2.85

We purchased diesel for $2.89 this week; however, most stations have raised diesel to $3.07 around these parts.

Gas prices.

Interesting note.

California has refineries.

Hawaii (Oahu) does not.

California has many different ways to distribute gas.

Hawaii does not.

Hawaii must import gas with fuel tankers.

California does not.

Why then, are Hawaii gas prices the same as California.

Ah, how the rich get richer.

What do you lose in fuel economy with e-85 while towing? I've read the average loss is about 15-20% making the break even point for $3.00 gas comparing to $2.40 e-85. I've ran it in my car and lost less then 15%, but I've never tried it while towing.

I haven't used E85 while towing. In fact, the owners manual says not to use E85 for towing, althought the dealer I bought it ('03 Tahoe) from says it will run on used beer.

My last fill was $2.32 for E85. Regular gas was $3.05. I lose 2 to 2.5 mpg on E85. Its not a big saving.

Here in north Texas - DFW - regular unleaded is $2.85; diesel is $3.00. Only one station sells E-85 and it is too far away from our new home but my husband enjoyed it when it was on his way to/from work.
