I don't know.

Hi, we glance at the gas station signs, but it is not registering now. We have three vehicles and have been switching off between them. We haven't taken any trips so it's a long time between fill ups. Probably the longest time we have gone without having to tank them up. We are also retired so no trips to work and back everyday. So I guess since we haven't had to buy gas for quite a while, that's a good thing. And cheaper too.

Just checked; The last time we bought gas was two weeks ago. While traveling, we have tanked up as much as three times in one day.

Even with trips to work and back there is sometimes weeks or months between fill-ups. I was not fortunate enough to need gas the day it was $1.809.

87/10% is around 1.99 here in Hot Springs. I heard on the radio that they are expecting prices to creep up to 2.50 as the summer blend fuels are introduced. (More Toluene in the mix).

We're at about $2.60 per/gal for unleaded in NWPA. Not sure about diesel. Funny thing. Gas can drop a dollar per gallon which is a savings of $15 - $20 per fill-up. So folks travel more and end up spending money when they go. So, did you really save anything? Even without the slightly cheaper petrol we still would've gone. Unless we're talking 1k+ miles, does twenty bucks really make that big of difference? We still fuel up and hit the road.

There's a lot of crude in storage and storage is running out. Some are predicting WTI, now around $50/barrel will go down to $20 because we are importing and producing a lot more than we use. Eventually this will sort out and prices will go up, so the best time to travel may be early in the season before they go up. I recall some years ago as prices were going up towards $2.00, some were predicting when gas reached that, there would be a revolt and everyone would buy little cars. Didn't seem to happen that way. I saw $2.16 in Grand Jct. today.

I don't understand the need for the question or posting answers that go out of date overnight.
A quick check of Gasbuddy or Mapquest gas prices will give you up to date answers.

I sure hope this is not news for too many readers here.

This is not a logical thread offering useful information, but a thread containing symbolic messages to propitiate the gods as to favorable travel.

I thought it was just to make me feel better about the relatively lower cost in Texas.
