$3.50/gal in Avon, OH. Yikes! I get my first diesel vehicle, the price of gasoline drops like a rock but diesel barely budges. Timing is everything.

It was in the $2.40-2.55 range in Denver last week, but Grand Junction is the $2.20's. Glad to be home, the cheapest gas in the state for a while.

$2.99 for Bio blend diesel... amazing that the drop from $3.11 happened when the new guys down the street opened up and set the price at $2.99!! Wow.. how does that happen? hahaha....

Gasoline is $1.999
18 miles away on I-35 it is
Diesel $3.099
Gasoline $2.159

How much longer is the gas companys play the 9/10th cent game? I want exact change back. I never received 1/10th of a penny in change ever.  I herd that Oklahoma city regular 1.98 and 9/10ths

No, it doesn't.
Same reason prices all end in "99" whatever units. $1.99 does not seem more like $1 than $2.
A car that is $29,999 doesn't seem at all like $20,000, $29,000, $29,900 or even $29,990. It seems like what it is- $30,000- it's all a bunch of hogwash.

I've always rounded up when priced this way to the chagrin of some car dealers. I tell them that it's easier for my simple mind to process.

I always do the same thing with any salesperson who is telling me something is 9999. They don't like it.
It was $2.02 yesterday in Grand Junction. Drat*! I filled up the day before for $2.20.
