Yeah, they make a great TV. Well, three or four of them would be needed to tow your TT, though...

Don't think we haven't contemplated the consequences of bolting on a tow hitch to said Prius and hitching up the 16' Bambi!

Hi lads, how you doing
I saw this thread and just thought i'd let you know the price of fuel here, hope your sitting down!!!
Diesel= 1.10 euros per litre, 4.5 litres per gallon= 5 euros a gallon, thats about 7USD.
Petrol would be 10% more expensive.
Jeeze, do i need to move.
Good luck
Pete

Ah yes, the ol' days:

I've seen a spike in fuel prices just in the last few days.

Reg Unleaded was $1.46 4 days ago. Now $1.65 - $3.09

Diesel is now running @ $1.72 - $3.25

Fairfield County, Connecticut.

How about that, did I sense that this guy was saying that he would move here because we have it good...at least on the gas thing?

Don't take it for granted. look at it through the perspective of reality..
And that statement is real...

Paid $2.349 yesterday for Reg unleaded.

That's the lowest I've seen in a while 'round here, but varies up to $2.699

Wholesale gasoline closed at $2.26. Several months ago it was around $1.90-2.00. That approximately 30˘ difference is showing up at retail.

On the east side of San Antonio diesel is running on average $2.79; unleaded $2.53. Being local I can usually find a station where their diesel is getting old in their tanks and can get it for $2.69. Several months I had no problem finding diesel for $2.39. CNN said its the futures traders driving the price of oil upward.

Over a 2 month window crude is actually less then it was in early Jan. 2010 but it's gone up and down. Hopefully the $80 barrier will keep pushing back and we can still avoid $3.00 fuel for the summer. Locally fuel has teetered, up one week down the next. We're currently at $2.51 where I live and $2.99 where I work. I fueled up in Denver last week for $2.38.
