You have to actually press the talk button before you begin to speak or the first word will not transmit...
Good universal hand signals are better.
The spotter has to stay where "she" can see me in the mirror. If "she" can't see my face in the mirror, I can't see "her" either.
Just stand here and put up both hands palms toward me when the bumper gets right here...

Yes sir. She's got the face in the mirror thing down now...

Regarding the pause, we've had that conversation as often as we've discussed usage of the PTT button...

You know, this kind of reminds me of the time I said, "You want golf lessons? No freaking way ... I can teach you everything you need to know!"

Fast forward to our first day on the driving range.
(Insert convulsive flailing and running from side to side, yelling, "STOP! STOP! STOP!")
Now I'm older (and just a little more wise) ...

A good journal or notebook to write down where you've been. /Lois

Thank you so much for those 2 posts. Haven't laughed that hard in quite awhile😄 and thanks to m.hony for setting the 2nd post up. Hope he/she posts again.

Joellen: might be good example of why it's good to take along your sense of humor
