You are looking for Camp Creek State Park! It has miles of riding trails, hiking trails, etc. You can even camp with your horse!

This place is only about 1.5 miles off of the Interstate, but is really secluded and beautiful. Also, has water and electric hookups... very nice place to camp. We go every year just about.

Other things close by are in Beckley, WV - outdoor dramas Honey in the Rock, Hatfield's and McCoy's, coal mining musuem and mine, etc.

We have camped at Babcock State Park, only because Hawk's Nest was full. Close to The New River Gorge, if white water is your drug of choice.

We have camped at Pipestem S.P. near Princeton several times. Full hook up, horse back riding, hiking, tennis, golf, lodges, wildlife, scenery, about 15 miles off interstate with easy acess. One of our favorites. Enjoy.
