West of OKC on I40 overnight parki?

I run between AR and NM more than I care to admit. Because of the logistics of the trip what I want/need are good stops just west of OKC on I40. West of OKC puts me at the end of day one and past a morning city transit and well positioned for day two. I do not want to use pay campgrounds. Truck stops are okay, just need a safe, hassle free overnight parking spot to get some sleep.



There is a rest area but its been closed.



Other ideas?

There is a WalMart in Yukon at I-40 and Garth Brooks Blvd. Also in El Reno I-40 and Country Club. Both have huge parking lots.

We have stayed in the Walmart in El Reno and Elk City both very good.
