Thanks for the A/C advice and all the congrats! Our trip was relatively uneventful, but everyone likes pictures so I thought I'd just post a couple for viewing enjoyment... (Plus I need to get my mind off my tow vehicle, some loser just stole the ball, head and shank out of my receiver with the truck parked right outside my office. I hate learning the hard way...Moving on!)

Here's my lovely wife April in our TV right outside our townhouse in Delray Beach, FL right before we left on our trip to the freezing lands of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

We drove hard on Jan 13th from about 2pm and made it from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Columbia, SC where we stayed in a hotel. This poor palm (palms are a real passion of mine) was shivering outside the hotel...

When we awoke from our first night I went out to start the diesel and the blower motor was frozen and the airbag light came on. Our truck is obviously a fair-weather beast as 20 minutes of run time in the parking lot of Holiday Inn got the blower motor working again (which froze up everynight) and the airbag light also went out after warming up!

But we were excited to see snow, April and I haven't seen the white blanket on things in years... We tend to travel to the tropics, vs. the mountains We are thin blooded.

We drove thru a couple tunnels in West Virginia (I think), and they were picture worthy...

Why does this not look like fun?

Alex, Carl, and Jack were all happy to oblige with our needs... All good guys there. Here's a couple shots of the AS getting hooked up to our mighty Ford. We were really pleased to have the trailer indoors at their shop when we arrived.

Anyone care to add captions to this pic? Only April and I know what was being said here.

Nice Ford and AS!

Glad to see you made it up here (we're in OH) and back home to FL safe and sound!

Sorry about the theft... irritates the life out of me that people don't respect other's property anymore! I have an old AS, but I still keep that coupler Master Lock on her because we have drive-aways happen. Just last summer, someone stole a mid-80's AS from her storage area and they found it 30+ miles away after a couple days with several parts missing. Last I heard, they still haven't caught the thief even though he was on camera pulling away with it!

Take care.
