We finally went camping

4 months and 200+ hours later we spent a weekend in the carolina mountains. Cool weather, big campfires, kids, bicycles, good food and better friends, perfect leaves all reflected in aluminum. Thanks to all who guided us to this weekend, and promise support for the future!

Sounds like a great time! Nice trailer. What is the other one in the photo?
Congrats on your first trip, you have to do many more camping trips to get your work/play ratio down to an acceptable level!

Thanks all, hadn't considered topsail but will look into it. The other camper is my good friends 1951 Royal Spartanette 35'(all original) it came out of Ga where it had been used to house missionaires when they were home. It sat behind the church that owned it for 30 years collecting pine needles, unharmed. He originally had a 31' sovereign. After camping together for a year he said my Jayco had to go! So it did! I sold my 75 sovereign to another friend 10/28 at 8 a.m. got a call around 3p.m. that the folks i had been calling for 2 months were ready to sell me thier 1953 Spartanette 30'. It has all original interior with very little damage! So many campers, so little time! I'm also trying to acquire any of 4 vagabonds that i've located.Yeah,...........I know, I know.....I got it bad........but we havn't misssed out on any camping yet, our 69 is a family member!

That Royal Spartanette didn't come from Marietta, GA did it by chance? It looks familiar! I saw something similar and meant to stop in and ask, but several months ago it disappeared.
