Walla Walla wine

Headed for Walla Walla to sample some local wine, which winery is your favorite?

Just returned from there yesterday, after spending three nights at the "Chillville" Airstream resort. There are too many wineries in the area to count, but our favorite tasting rooms were right near the airport -- Tamarack, Adamant, and Dunham Cellars. If you're interested in a more traditional winery, L'Ecole No. 41 in Lowden is terrific.

a TV program originating in Seattle just featured the Chillville operation last evening. except for their location, looks pretty interesting.

I have fond memories of staying in Chillville! We wanted to see if a 22' Sport would fit our needs, so we stayed there last summer for several nights. We lived through a huge electrical storm and tasted some great wine. We like Charles Smith wines, as well as some of the others mentioned. Had a great breakfast at Bacon and Eggs. Ultimately we decided the sport model was too narrow, so the money we spent at Chillville was worth every penny as it helped us narrow down what we wanted in our first AS!
