Vintage Camper Motel :)

I saw this place featured on a program on the Travel Channel: Millionaire Trailer Parks. Im afraid that it's not going to be on again in the near future but is this great or what?

Hey Steve,
There is another Camper Motel in Colorado or Wyoming. I can't find
where I saw it. It was more rustic than the Shady Dell. And my brother stayed at a place in Mexico that was old Caddilacs turned into sleeping
rooms.

Steve,
That's quite a place~ And, from the looks of it..the owners have done a fantastic job of recreating a look-back to a era all too familiar for most of us...lol
Actually, this story has surfaced/aired from time to time and it just gets better with each exposure~
If you do some research on the owners...You'll find that they have a most unique story to tell.
Thanks again for the link...
ciao

Steve;
That's real nice and the rates aren't bad either. There's a guy here in El Paso that is in the process of building a motel like that and he has a great collection of trailers already! I will post pictures when his project is more near completion.

My wife and I try to make it down to Bisbee every couple years . The whole town is a neat place to visit . I stayed at the Shady Dell a few years ago for the first time while on a motorcycle trip. The lady in charge there let me pitch my tent on a little grassy spot for the night. They are really nice folk and would recomend it for a place to visit.--pieman

Actually, the above issue has a 4 page pictorial on the Shady Dell too, FYI.
