Drove through Lost Dutchman yesterday looking for a spot. Pretty close to full, but surprised at the number of Streamers up there this week. Was this the plan, or just a coincidence? I'm a newly just passing through.

Hey PDXRick... We've been at Lost Dutchman since 23 Dec...but the stars aligned just right and 6 rigs from the Four Corners Unit (4CU) of WBCCI converged here at the same time. Three of us are headed out on other trips and three of us are headed to the 4CU New Year's Rally at Picacho Peak State Park halfway between Phx & Tucson just off I-10 tomorrow...the rally is 31 Dec-4 Jan. If you are still in the neighborhood, you are welcome to join us for the rally as a guest. It's a great gathering and a fun time! .... So far we have 44 rigs signed up, I believe. PM me if you'd like more info. It's a legendary gathering...there's also info on the Airforums rally calendar. Come on down!

Thanks for the invitation TBRich. Paid for a nice little spot in Apache Junction KOA until the 15th, but would like to take a ride down on Saturday for a visit, if that works for you. I have yet to chat with any other Airstreamers face to face.

We have enjoyed the experience here at the 4CU Picacho Peak New Year's Rally. More pleasant after the rain was gone Wednesday. Brisk this morning (2 Jan) at 27 degrees at sunrise headed for the mid 40s.

By all means you are welcome to come on down for a visit, even if you don't have your Airstream in tow! A couple of the rigs from NM and parts further away have left already and there will probably be more leaving tomorrow (it's a long rally so folks are coming and going throughout) ... the rally runs thru Sunday so you will find some aluminum here, for sure. Louis & Sergio are in the shiny 62 Ambassador in the first slot as you come into the group area...they are the hosts ... I think we'll still be here, too... Pretty cold last night, as Swtiz pointed out, but we are a hardly lot!

Yes, been there. Don't have our Airstream yet, but the Central Coast is on the list of destinations to take it. The restaurant at the Dolphin Bay in Shell Beach is really good if you need a night out.
