Really a Marina parking lot but it just doesn't matter! We've been to 2 rallies here - imagine a parking lot with 70 Airstreams - and now going solo to take in some shows.
The ferry to Ellis Island and Lady Liberty was just stunning. Worth every penny. She's so beautiful!!!

Camped via Harvest Hosts at a historic airplane museum in Utah. Amazing views, and beautiful though breezy weather. As you can see from the fences, we’re outside the secure area, camped in the parking lot for the night. The price is right, and we got a very nice nice tour of the museum before closing.

Back when I-75 was new between Tampa and Atlanta, the wife and I took a trip and decided to take Hwy. 41 all the way to avoid the interstate.
Along the way we saw some gliders, and the place looked like a farm, so we turned in to say hello. We operated on the theory that they wouldn't shoot us. The first words from the owner were, "Grab that wingtip and run along here until I get some speed built up." So I did! What a great discovery I'd never have seen from the interstate. Up close and personal.
