US70 travels

Anyone ever take US70 from Lordsburg, NM to Phoenix, AZ? Looking at running this route in late December vs the I-10 route.

Yes, unless there is the very infrequent snow storm, it's a great route. You'll pick up US-60 in Globe, AZ, which will take you through a beautiful canyon and out into the east valley before leading you to Phoenix. Try the Lost Dutchman State Park near Apache Junction -- just east of the Superstition Mountains. Enjoy

It's a nice drive that I've taken a few times.
