Two month adventure

We have been on a two month trip from the banks of Lake Superior (Bayfield Wi) through Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Utah Montana (currently at Glacier NP) and heading home through Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota. What a ride. We have a 2015 23D Airstream and it functioned flawlessly. Only saw a hand full of Airstreams along the way but we did get to blink our lights or offer a wave. We have only had two "near misses in the almost 5000 miles traveled. An unlucky deer in Iowa(semi on my tail and the deer slipped under the front of the tow vehicle). Small under front dent but that was it except for the unfortunate deer, and while leaving Yosemite a rental RV crossed the center line on the narrow mountain roads and clipped my TV mirror with his. Chipped my marker light on the mirror but shattered his. Not bad for a major maiden voyage of a grand size. 2000 plus pictures to remember it by. Officially retired two days now. Don't know how to top this trip. Maybe Fall lobster in Maine and down the East coast.

Do the New England swing in early fall right after Labor Day. By all means do the 'Lobsta' in Bar Harbor/Arcadia as the leaves start their change. Then, head towards home to enjoy the colors all the way home.
