Toilet Paper Roll?
OK, this seems like a sill question but I searched the archives. Any cool tricks to keep the entire TP roll from unraveling while towing? I have considered a couple small eye hooks and a small bungee. Is this a problem for everyone?
Cheers!

We crush the roll so the cardboard tube is flattened and has friction on the holder.

Never once had a problem in our 25FB. Or in our previous 23D.

I wonder if stabbing T.P. with a sewing needle to the eye would do it. Don't ask why I know so much about sewing needles.

For the first three years we had the Airstream, the toilet paper never unrolled itself while we were traveling. For the last year, it has unrolled itself. I wish I knew why; if I did, I would tell you.

Wrap a tiny bungee around it, or use a bit of scotch tape.

Here's what I did on my boat when the horizontal roll of paper towels unrolled.
I cut a small piece of clear plexiglass to a length I liked, and made the width about 3". Then I attached a small hinge to the wall so the piece of clear plastic laid on top of the roll. No more unrolling and you could pull off paper without lifting the plastic arm.

Just squeeze the role so the core is mashed into an oval shape before you hit the road. Once you are parked, squeeze it back close to round...
And no, I'm NOT giving up my overkill engineering card for this one. Sometimes the simple answer is the best one.
Reminds me of the hugely complex manufacturing machine that made massive numbers of small parts under total computer control. Try as they might, the company's engineers could not get it to quit clogging up with bits of metal coming off the parts as the machine made them. So they hired a high-priced consulting firm, paid for them to extensively study the machine's minutest actions and examine the programming, and paid a small fortune for the final report. The final report was, "Hire a guy with a wheelbarrow and a shovel to pick up and haul the shavings away."

Balance your tires.
(and crush the carboard core/tube of the roll)

Don't know if it's the same on yours, but our TP holder is on the inside of a cabinet door. We leave the end of the TP hanging out the top of the door- and just pull out what we need. This probably also avoids the unraveling, as we've never had the problem.

Hi
By far the most simple solution - ignore it. The roll goes nuts very rarely. Spooling it back up is not all that hard ....

Unrolled
That roll is saving your $$$$$$$
Could be wrong but verify. Could be most likely a tire/tires that are coming apart causing radial or lateral runout. The bounce is causing the unrolling if never before a problem.
A bent rim or axle could be a culprit. But most likely a tire

Consider it one of the check list items on departure:
Take the roll off the holder and put it on the shelf.

A vote for giving the Charmin a goog Squeeze making the center tube out of round.
I even do that at home to keep the incidences of run away TP rolls.

Keep your over engineering card. The solution was simple, but I love the answer. [emoji3]

Yup. Sometimes the simplest answer has the most engineering behind it. Other times, someone facepalms themselves muttering, "Why didn't I think of that sooner..."
