Sure...you can put Pressure Pros on your tow vehicle as well...that would be 4 for the tow vehicle + how many ever wheels you have on your trailer...

Our Tacoma already has it's own built-in tire pressure monitoring system, so we only got Pressure Pros for the trailer. (By the way, Pressure Pros are better than the built-in system on the truck because our truck's system doesn't tell you which tire is low!)

there are replacement suction cups available...

and there are 'bean bag' things for the dash WITH suction cup centers...

whlle in bestbuy today i saw no less than 40 styles of mounts...

from 5-6 different vendors, and this one had a BUNCH of styles ...

http://www.bracketron.com/

cabellas has a CLOSEOUT/discount right now (in the closeouts room) on mounts from these guys...

____________

in terms of TPMS some of us are using the hawkshead units discussed in these threads...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f438...ems-62214.html

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f42/...ers-54841.html

((and near the very END of this thread...))

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f438...tor-38023.html

-the h/h tpms provides pressures AND temperatures...

--the sensors have diy REplaceable batteries...

---the display is SMALL , some with a nice suction mount but will work with many gadget holders...

----everything is controlled by 3 buttons (in various combinations)

-----and the screen shows LOTS of tires all together (mine is showing 12 tires in use right now...)

------while the monitor makes noise when there are problems,

-------what i REALLY LIKE is the bright RED LED that flashes when significant deflations...

i'm generally satisfied with this system, especially the display, battery and pressure/temp features...

but the company/customer service is somewhat lackadaisical, in a canadian sorta way...

so i'm not WILDLY recommending them over others.

pricing is a TAD better than the other popular systems...

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

cheers

Thanks 2AIR......does one need the booster with the TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM system. My unit is 29' with F250 TV. I seem to like it cause the sensors are included and batteries are rebuildable. Thanks......Dennis

hi dk'

not sure who really needs the booster, obviously LONGER rigs may.

i purchased the battery powered booster but didn't use it for the first week...

((stuff is returnable))

with a 34 and LONG f250 in REALLY REALLY COLD weather (8-15 degrees)...

the system occasionally 'lost' a tire or 2.

put a battery IN the booster and placed it INSIDE the stream front overhead locker...

and totally solved the lost signal issue.

(IF one were to get the WIRED booster,

it would be easy to install and mount INSIDE the lp tank cover.)

in warmer weather the signal may not have been weak but i kept the booster.

the display has a rechargeable battery

and AFTER 2-3 charges it seems to last 3-5 weeks in daily use.

as i recall the valve stem HEADS are a TINY bit lighter than the other major system too.

ken, hiho and i seem to be satisfied with this gear.
_______

the round 12v charger plug thing, FELL APART 2 weeks ago,

i emailed them and they sent me a new charger under warranty

(later went to radio shack and found generic chargers that are compatible)

cheers

Well I bought an "AutoDashMount unit." $23.00 from a company called Accessory Power in Westlake Village, CA. It is
just what I need.
Thanks for all of your input.

i've had mine for a while now, I'm pleased....
I bought the amp, cig outlet version. The only time I have needed it was when the truck was PARKED away from the 'stream...but then again - I don't have the 'road train' that 2air has...(mine is a standard bed Dodge with as 34' trayla)

I have had to wiggle the battery in one sensor a time or two, thats the only issue..I really like the temp feature.

Cost was really nice, replaceable batteries sealed the deal for me.

Back to the OP...TONS of sukshun mounts on the market 2 hold cell fones so we don't get talkin'-while-streamin' tickets...pick one...
