THOR Customer Care Roadside Assistance?

In yesterday's mail I received a THOR Industries, Inc. Customer Care Roadside Assistance card and packet. Apparently the card/service expires 9/10/04..... I didn't subscribe/ask for this....I have Farmers towing, etc.

Is this a marketing "come on" ? The return address is Lake Havasu City, AZ; the insurance is provided by and administered by Coach-Net.

I have no idea where THOR's main headquarters are but don't think they are in Lake Havasu.

You get a free year with purchase of the trailer. THOR sends you the packet when your info is registered at the factory. In my case, I did renew; in the past, I have used roadside assistance twice and the good thing is that they get both the truck and trailer to a safe place. Most auto towing services will tow one or the other, but not both.

Thank you for clearing that up! Interesting that I would receive it now....it is our first anniversary of ownership.

I hope that I am covered properly for towing; my Farmers agent has assured me that we are......

The Expedition is the most likely to have need of a tow AND we don't wish to leave the tt along the highway somewhere--guess Brenda will have to stay with it if Farmers doesn't come through.

I think we have to pay and then hope for a reimbursement from Farmers.

I got mine about 3 months after I took delivery of the '03 Bambi.

Mine was quite late, also as well as their notification to WBCCI of my purchase. They sent the packet to me only after a couple of of phone calls.

I got my WBCCI info just as fast as I got the Thor roadside kit-- within months of picking up the Bambi.

Too bad the WBCCI membership is not really passable. I'd gladly give it to whomever would take it.....

Guess in December when the new coach arrives, I won't be able to look forward to getting another free WBCCI year....
