Things to See in Page Az - Antelope Canyon

Headed to Page AZ in May. Looking for recommendations for Antelope Canyon, upper or lower? and tour companies? Or any other good or relaxing things to see or do in the area. Will probably be there 3 or 4 days.
Thanks for any info.

Things to See in Page Az- Antelope Canyon

DW and I have been there several times. We always stay at the RV park Wahweap, at Lake Powell. The private RV park in town is a dump. Things to do; Sunset cruise/dinner very nice. They offer a rafting trip on the river. This not a white water trip. The water is so calm they have out board motors on the rafts to move them along. It is old people friendly. We never did do the Antelope Canyon tour. Not my thing. In addition, the Glen Canyon Dam building has a nice visitors center, and as usual in town you restaurants, a Walmart etc. It is a very nice area.

Just outside Page AZ is the Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River. It beautiful to see. A very short hike from the sand parking lot out through the desert. I took this photo of the view. Sunset are spectacular! Enjoy. Click image for larger version

The RV park at the dam on Lake Powell is excellent. The river trip from the dam to Lees Ferry is very good. We did the cruise to Rainbow Bridge on the lake and it was a good way to see a lot of the lake. The Antelope Canyon is on an Indian reservation. I would not miss it but it was very crowded and a rough tour with the long ride in the back of a Dodge Powerwagon "at speed". Dress to rough it. We played golf a the Page course one day and it was a nice experience with a lot of great views.

Do the lower Antelope Canyon operated by Ken.
I've done it twice. No reservation needed and you drive to the site rather than being hauled out from town to the upper canyon.
And, for a great tour, get the photographer's pass. Higher price but you get a private tour and aren't with a large group. You need a SLR camera and a tripod but it is well worth the effort.
Try to time it in the morning so you get the best sun rays shining down.
Its an amazing place

The rafting trip post #2 and the photo post #3. This photo is from a raft looking up to the post #3 vantage point.
