We crossed into Washington, through Spokane and went by the small town of Davenport. This is a dry farming area.

Some of the farms have lots of old trucks and farm equipment.

We have a 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk that happens to be the first one off the assembly line in Los Angeles, it is serial No. 1. Anyway the shop that is doing the frame off restoration is out here among the farms so we stopped to check things out. This is a Golden Hawk that they just finished.

Here is a sign you don't see very often these days.

After visiting the storage shop in town we went out to where the work is done. Here is something that is a common sight around here.

This is where the work gets done.

Naturally there are remains of donor cars strewn about.

After checking the shop out we headed toward home. We saw grain handling operations.

We are nearing the Columbia River so there is irrigation on these farms.

If you look closely you can see some wind turbines on top of the hill. You can see we went through a bit of a storm but the sun was out again about 10 miles down the road.

After our stop in Davenport we were running late so we spent the night in Ellensburg. The next morning we headed over the Snoqualmie Pass. Here we approach the summit.

These are the two bridges over the Tacoma Narrows. The bridge on the right replaced the famous "Galloping Gertie" back in the 40's. The bridge on the left was built 5 or 6 years ago because of increased traffic volume. It is now a toll bridge.

This bridge is the Hood Canal Bridge. At 1.4 miles long it is the longest floating bridge over salt water. It is also the 3rd longest floating bridge in the world.

Well we made it home safely after traveling 8500 miles in 11 weeks. The Hagarstream took us through 4 U.S. States and 3 Canadian Provinces, even took a ride on a boat. Not too bad for a 32 year old vehicle.

We met many great people and saw many amazing sights and brought home way too many souvenirs. We met several new Airstream friends and also visited with some old Airstream friends. It was a pretty great trip. I hope you all enjoyed following along on our trip. Thank you very much.

One more thing, here is our Golden Hawk heading out our driveway on the way to be restored.
