The Gold Banded Airstream

I subscribe to Vintage Camper Trailer magazine and the editor Paul Lacintinola acquired this custom built Airstream and restored it. There is an article in their magazine and its starting a sponsored tour this summer. The itinerary is listed in this piece

It's first appearance was at the Trailerfest Rally (Rockabilly Rally) this past weekend in Hollister, CA. I got an opportunity to get into the rally so we decided to take the trailer out for a 'Let's see what breaks' weekend. Here's a couple photos of this interesting piece of Airstream history.

FYI, nothing major broke, couple small water leaks. Got to see great trailers. This was my favorite. 58 Packard SW with 58 AS.
