We have arrived at the mother ship. It is cold and raining. There are several other trailers and one motor home awaiting service. We will be here until our stuff is done.

Sorry, friend, didn't intend to come across so strongly...really all in fun. The Buckeyes are in a heap of trouble with their football team, and in Ohio, the Buckeye football team is close to a religion!

We left Ohio 33 years ago....couldn't stand the weather. At least in Oregon it mostly rains and the humidity in summer doesn't hover around 95%....ugh!!!!

There are some beautiful areas in Ohio...

I was subconsciously thinking about my trip after ohio and meant to label the thread the buckey beaver orgeon trail tour......but

well the mother ship better be good....because she is expensive.......you are met with a sign that says effective......labor rate is $104.00 an hour.......

they took my trailer in at 7AM....I got it back at 4PM, an hour off for lunch and a labor bill for $832.00........

they worked on the brakes replacing the magnets......and a few other parts.

parts and labor for the brake overhaul....no shoes...just magnets

$356.00

wheel bearings.......labor and grease and such $250.00

I had them adjust the gas pressure to correct water heater abnormalities, replace sewer flusher, replace brake brake away and some other assorted
items for a labor rate of $350.00

if you can't run with the big dogs....don't get off the porch

Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a stunning bill for those services!
Some of us have to learn to do it ourselves, by necessity!

It has been raining every day in NE Ohio...and it doesn't look like it is ending anytime soon. Some of the rest of us are going to be heading back to JC for the Alumapalooza. What is the ground like out back in the field where we will be parking for the Alumapalooza?? Does it look like we will be ankle deep in mud??

last year they had to pull trailers OUT when the event was over.......

this year the trailer will have to be PULLED IN......If it had stopped raining last week it would still be a muddy hole when the event was over.......

the forecast is for continuing rain.......does not look good....

We left jackson center, somewhat poorer, but with new brakes and such and it was raining cats and dogs.

we traveled to Deer Creek state park, northeast of washington courthouse, ohio...it is a relatively new park. all new asphalt drives and sites....no one here but us chickens...it is wetttttttttttttttt....leaving tomorrow for tar hollow state park east of chillcothe, oh
