Well we made it to Florida!
2900 miles from Michigan!...

The trip has been great thus-far.
Highlights were the Okefenokee Swamp, GA

& St. Augustine, FL
(in my opinion).

Tomorrow we head for the Keys
with Donna's sister & brother-in-law.
Camping at John C. Penecamp for a week,
then Bahia Honda for 3 days.

Hi WillyD & Moosetags....

This is our first winter away from MI and like you, we do not miss it at all!
Our neighbors tell us they just got another 6" of snow. I think that makes at least 14" thus far in S.W. MI... A lot for this early in the season.

Moosetags....We'll definitely check out the panhandle as we move north and west into Jan. & Feb. I want to visit several springs as well as the national forests. Other than those places, we'll probably stick pretty close to the gulf as we work our way toward New Orleans... maybe just into Eastern Texas, before we head North to get back to Michigan in early April. We like the more primitive, out-of-way places the best.
