THE ADVENTURE BEGINS - 6 mos Full Time

Phantom & Bunny will set out for the winter in our nearly-new 2007 Bambi 19' towed by our (new-to-us) '05 Toyota 4-Runner V8. We intend to leave S.W. Michigan around 11/13 and head for the Great Smokey Mountains. From there on to Cape Hatteras and down the East coast. Wanting to visit Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, and St. Augustine, FL. Will be doing as much 'semi-boondocking' as possible. Staying in smaller, cheaper campgrounds, forests, etc. We have to meet up with Bunny's sister and hubby near Orlando by 12/5 to go camping with them in the Keys. Would like to start a 'blog'... (on here or on my own?) Would like any advice regarding blogging, pictures, getting advertisers... maybe making a little money. Love to hear from anyone with comments or advice... or even if I have this in the wrong place. Cheers and Happy Trails... Hope to be meeting many of you on the road!.

Good luck with your new adventure. We've been blogging our fulltiming experience here in a thread on the forums, with good success. When we started the thread, we didn't have any blogs here.
It doesn't pay anything, but it also doesn't cost anything, plus you get the benefit of thousands of users' experience when you run into a problem.

I don't read blogs with advertisements.

I don't know you, and you don't know me, so there is no reason my statement would impact you.

But I think many people will skip your blog if your words are squished between ads. Especially the mini-videos that slow page loading.

Have a wonderful time. We spent 3 months last year in touring Canada and the western states. Can't wait to do it again. Look in "Passport America" on the web for a lot of sites 50% off and if you are over 65, purchase a one time card that will allow the person over 65 and guests to get into Federal parks and then normally a reduced rate to camp.
