Thank you TAHI

We have just returned from spending 5 days at Texan Airstream Harbour in Zavalla Texas. I wanted to share what a great experience it was. We originally chose it because we wanted a safe place to leave our AS for a month while we returned to Canada for Christmas. Our plan is to travel throughout Texas this winter. While making our way South West we had an issue with our door blowing open during travel as well as a loose stone guard that we had to remove. When we arrived at TAHI the residents couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. They made us welcome and offered advice, tools and materials to fix our problems. That aside, the park is nicely laid out with good size lots and many trees throughout the property. They have a nice large club house with activities. Even though it is quiet there is always something going on and someone drops by to make sure you are invited. I look forward to going back in January. It is located on a large lake so there is great fishing I am told. Great place if you are looking for a quieter vacation.

I/we too ad a interesting "drive through". We did have some difficulty getting through the gate. There is very limited cell phone in the area; Verizon did NOT work.
Morgan Flournoy arrived and gave us the Grand Tour. We enjoyed our tour and all the things to do in the area. On our tour, we learned one thing, one MUST be an AGGIE fan, not a Long Horn. Being from Iowa and a HAWKEYE this could be interesting.

We hope to visit and stay soon as we will be visiting family in the Beaumont area.

My wife's folks used to winter at THAI for many years in their (now our) 86 Limited. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Sam Rayburn lake is huge. And the area is quite wooded and pretty. Lufkin is the largest town close by.

We stayed at TAHI for two nights during one of our trips. We also found the folks living there very friendly.
