I always wanted to make something (mounted in the tire well) that gave off a sound like tires squaling (as if you'd slammed on the brakes) and emitting smoke like the tires are smoking..... just to scare the poop out of tailgaiters. I'm sure it would be against the law, but would be funny.....

Here in DC ignorant tailgating is the norm. People have no clue what they're doing wrong.
