Does anyone have feedback on the RV parks in St Augustine, FL. My plans are for late January and I will be down there with my 25' International. I am looking at Anastasia State Park, Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort and the KOA in that area. Mainly I want to be near 11 St on A1A. Any help would be great!

I would start checking out and reserving at Anastasia Park.I love going there all the time.
Try and get a spot in the coquina area.It is a really great spot to be in and everything is just closer there.
The KOA is actually just down the road from there and is in a great spot but like any KOA that I have been to so far the sites are really close and I never really liked that. You do get full hookups though.
Personally I would prefer Anastasia State park but thats because my friends live just outside the back gate and the park is in the perfect spot to be in.Everything is just a few minutes away from you.

It just cant get any better than that.
bryn mawr is a rat hole... we were there in july of 2008... it was the first time I had been there since the late seventies... hardly recognized it... management really couldn't care less if you stayed there or not... way too many 'park' models.. no view of the ocean (dunes anyway) because of them... there's car access on the beach, so being on the other side of A1A isn't too bad an alternative...

I spent 3 months last summer in the area and stayed at several parks. Anastasia is fine (my profile pic was taken there). Make sure if you go without a reservation that you tell them you want a NON-reservable spot (that way you can pay day to day and you won't have to relocate because that spot was reserved). Remember you can only stay 14 days. The showers and bathrooms are OK and they have a few washers and dryers. The beach is close to camping sites and is clean with canoe, etc. rentals. They have a wi-fi hotspot in the concession area. In the evening it is quiet and they have a gate to keep out anyone that doen't belong. Make sure you visit the Farmer's market at the ampitheatre on saturdays (just out the path).
Have a great time...wish I was going too! If you have any other ?'s, I'm happy to try to help.
