Smoky Mountain Trip to Cherokee!!

Guys,
Thanks to everyone who helped me out in my quest to ID the old Safari Campground in Cherokee, NC! I have finally discovered that it is no Yogi in the Smokies! It's 7 miles north of town on 441. It's a really nice park and has lots for the kids to do!!

My family and I will be taking out 1979 31' Sovereign on it's maiden trip this summer! I know there are other things going on, but we will be at Yogi from June 30th to July 7th and we would love to see some other silver in the park and meet some folks! If anyone is interested in coming even a day or two, they are taking reservations now!! Again, my thanks for the help and here's hoping I see some folks there! -Don

Thanks for the info! I hope you'll write up a campground review when you return. The Cherokee Museum is on our list of places to visit someday.

Sure will! My family vacationed in the area several times when I was a kid and we loved it! Hope my kids do too.

The Smoky Mountains area is beautiful. That's where we got our AS from. Can't wait to go back for a visit!
