Wow I'm really impressed that you pulled your AS up Independence Pass! I recently did it twice to fish the Frying Pan and found it a thrilling experience without my trailer particularly on the Aspen approach!

It is a thrill ride like you said since we came out of Aspen to head home, which saved me an hour traveling home and avoiding I-70. I wouldn't recommend it for the faint of heart for sure with the single lane sections and no guardrails with 1000 ft cliffs. But hey I had to do it. I also left early enough in the morning (7:30) so not to hit any heavy traffic. That would have made it a bit more difficult. BTW the Pan was excellent and big Green Drake hatch was going off. Slammed them all day long.

Be well, fish on!
Here's the view from our trailer a few weeks ago. The "house" is actually the interior side of a front porch. It is pulled by a tractor and has its generator hidden in the "outhouse" trailer at the back. The brain is my son's art car, nicknamed "Zombie Bait."
