Airstreams are a huge magnet for looky loos. I don't mind showing my trailer at a rest stop on a dry day, but some days its wet and muddy. Some people are clueless when my shoes are outside by the steps. I do want to promote Airstreams without the dirty floors. What do you say to someone that wants a looksy ? What if a family wants a tour? Any bad experiences? I am a people pleaser to a point.

We have a rug just inside the door. That's where we leave our shoes. If you want to see inside our AS, and do not wish to remove your shoes, that rug is as far as you go. You can see all the way to the back window from there, so if that's enough... fine.
If, on the other hand, you remove your shoes, you are free to explore all you want. Fair enough?
