Secondary Hwy 78 from west NM into AZ?

Currently staying at Cosmic Campground on Hwy 180 north on Glenwood, NM and thinking to head toward Saguaro NP in AZ on Sunday since M-W the cold front makes temps better. Was gointo to head to Alamogordo, NM before heading back east to NC, but have been to White Sands multiple times and worked in the field in that area. Just south of Cosmic campground secondary NM Hwy 78 heads west and intersects AZ 191 at Three Way. The thickness of the line on the map is less than the thickness of either Hwy 180 in NM or Hwy 191 in AZ. Anybody know how 78 would be with 20’ Bambi being towed with Tundra 5.7L?
Thanks, Stephen

Been to long since we've been on that stretch to recall but I thought it was curvy.

I just googled

"Az highway 78"

I read the review in the website called

"Mountain Directory"

Seems that website reviews all the mountain roads in AZ. It said it was curvy and lots of slower turns. It looked like you can a demo ride on that site. You might also be able to google earth drive it for a good visual.

Thanks. Yes, I used GoogleEarth and looked in 3D also. I do that as a normal routine. Allstays shows some steep long grades in the curvy section as well, but I think I could do it. Anyway, from where I am located now in western NM near AZ border, and given I need to be back in Raleigh, NC by Nov 1. I think Iwill head SE instead tomorrow to get ahead of the cold front that will drop down below I-10 between El Paso and Abilene. I’m worried if I wait out the cold front in Tucson where it won’t be freezing and don’t start heading back east until mid-week I might not make it back by Nov 1 if an problems arise.
