Anyone have a recommendation for a campground to use as a base for exploring the area around Santa Fe.

We're big fans of Santa Fe Skies RV Park. The campground is great, the location is central, and the sunsets are to die for. We liked it so much last year that we made sure to spend a few days again this season.

You can also check out Rancheros de Santa Fe. A little further out and a few more trees. But both are good choices.

We stayed in Santa Fe Skies RV Park in May and it was very nice. The surrounding scenery provided a great view. The park was fairly empty when we were there, so that made it nicer for us for sure. It opened up the views. Here are a few photos I captured when we were there:
