San Diego to Bay Area, and back...
Took a 6 day/5 night trip to visit family for Turkey Day.
Started in San Diego. First night in Bakersfield at Bakersfield River Run RV Park. Second night in Visalia KOA. Third night outside my bro-in-law's house in Danville. Fourth night in Anthony Chabot Campground near Castro Valley (super awesome place and favorite part of the trip). Last night in Pacific Dunes Ranch RV Park in Pismo Beach (also super awesome and favorite part of the trip).
Next time, MUST spend more time at Anthony Chabot Campground...so many hiking and biking trails to explore. And, dogs and bikes are allowed on all the trails!!!
Pics below:
1. Awesome dog run area at the Visalia KOA campground. Dogs were very happy!
2. Campsite #6 at Anthony Chabot Campground
3. Biking the trails at Anthony Chabot Campground (small pic at bottom)
4. My family at Pismo Dunes (panoramic pic)
5. On the dunes, looking back at the RV park in the distance
6. Dog #1, yawing 'cause he's tired from the day's adventures

We are at Chabot right now, and have been here since the 23rd of December. We will be here until Monday when we return the AS to its winter home in Price, UT. Weirdstuff is right, the biking here is scenic and plentiful. Even my 5 and 3 year old grandsons rode with us over the Golden Gate Bridge on Christmas Eve. We've also spent a day riding around Golden Gate Park. We are plugged into the campground's electrical system, the first time we've plugged into anything all year.
