RV Park at Phoenix AZ

I plan to travel to northern AZ next week and will have one night stop at north part of Phoenix AZ. Any suggestion where I can find a nice RV park which is close to freeway I17 to stay one night? Thank you!

Val-Vista in Mesa is my favorite on the east side of town and Sunflower in Surprise on the west side.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park just northwest of Phoenix. Reasonably easy access to and from I-17.

If you just want a quick overnight stop with hookups, there's a KOA in Black Canyon City, north of Phoenix. It's a few hundred feet east of I-17, and about a half mile north of the freeway exit.

Where are you headed in northern Arizona? I-10 to I-17 is a quick route, but not very scenic. I-15 to Barstow, then I-40 to Flagstaff is 40 miles shorter and will save about 45 minutes driving time.

We recently stayed at Desert's Edge RV Park off Rte. 17 just north of the 101 at Deer Valley exit. Nice park, clean restrooms/showers, with pool and hot tub. We enjoyed our stay there.

If you can get a site, Cave Creek Regional Park (Maricopa County) at I-17 and Carefree Highway is very convenient... We have also stayed at Lake Pleasant Regional Park but it's 15 miles west of I-17...30 miles round-trip...

If you get further north check out the Distant Drums RV Park (commercial) in Camp Verde...right on I-17 and very well maintained, god amenities...Flagstaff is then "just up the hill"!

At exit 289 on I-17 at Camp Verde, find the Krazy K RV Park. We've stayed there several times, congenial hosts with a well organized and clean park.
