Has anyone been to the RV / Motorhome museum in Elkhart, Indiana? Is it worth seeing? We're going to be near there in June and I was thinking about stopping.
Nice Museum! Stopped in there 3 or 4 years ago on the way back from the Flea Market in Shipsawanna. If I remember correctly many of the units are set up in a "campground" and are open for inspection. Found it interesting, informative and enjoyable.
Tom.
It was neat to see, they have a LARGE collection of old magazines and trade publications. It isn't large by any means, but worth stopping for if you are interested and in the area. The New York Central Railroad Museum is just down the street too.

We were there in October! We thought it was fun visit. We were able to identify at least 3 campers similar to ones we have owned and used. This museum did not take long to go through. Short and sweet.
The really vintage trailer was pulled by a Model T and that was way cool.
There are alot of RV salvage/parts stores in that area of the state and we had fun shopping through them. Found some neat stuff for not too expensive prices.
