Rest stop photos....
 While going thru our Stream'n photos I've noticed how interesting some of the rest stop shots are.....any more out there?

Lynn, What is the route number. I want to put that on my list of places to see when I get out that way later this year. I assume it's in NM?

The pass itself is located near the NM/AZ border on the Navajo Reservation. The road is BIA13, which passes just south of the shiprock itself, then heads west and up over the pass. As I said, though, do not tow over it! The grade (as we discovered the hard way) is 14%. I was in first gear, floored, and just barely made it up. Down the other side was again in first gear, holding the brakes to keep it under control. Otherwise, it's a nice, paved road, curvy, but no big deal.

Forgot this one earlier, from the welcome center at Vicksburg looking west over the Mississippi River. The I20 bridges are just south (to the left) of this one, the old highway/rail bridge.
