Recreation.gov- Anybody used it yet?

It signed on today. I booked a weekend at a COE campground down the road and it was quick and easy. I was very pleased. I figured being the first day online after a two week shutdown (when it was reserveamerica.com) there would be slowness, but I noticed none.

By the way, you need to create a new account. Your old reserveamerica.com account won't work at recreation.gov.

Anybody else use it yet?

We used it for a stay at Defeated Creek in TN, it was very easy and simple to use.

I've used reserveamerica for 4 years now and when it switched to recreation.gov it took me awhile to make the change. I used it to reserve a COE campground Lock A at Cheatham Dam in TN. last April where I have camped for 5 years now.

will reservations made on the old site be good on the new. I have spring break 08 booked on with reserveamerica

Looks like just the COE sites moved. Florida State parks are still at Reserve America.

Whew...went to check out and most of my parks are state and don't show up at .gov
