Recommendations for overnight in NC

We are making our first trip in our RV from the South Jersey area down to Orlando in May. We're probably going to stop somewhere in North Carolina on the way down. Not sure how far we will go on that first day, but we're shooting for the Fayetteville area. Does anybody know of a decent campground that is pet friendly in that general vicinity? It's just for the one night, but we'd like to stop at a nice place the first time out...

I don't know campgrounds around there, but you might try asking here publicly if anyone would like to offer courtesy parking. For one night it's ideal and usually much more fun than a campground if you have a serious case of "aluminitis"!
