Recommendation for Under-bed Container

While I'm home for a month between trips, I want to solve the issue I've had from the get-go with the black storage bin located beneath the passenger side twin bed of my FBT 25' Airstream. It came with the AS and fits so tightly in its space that it won't slide out without a struggle. It's one of the spaces I consign to visiting guests for their 'stuff' and more than once, they've popped a hinge when pulling it out. Photos below show that it has gotten pretty battered from my exertions. I plan to make the rounds with it i.e. BBB, Container Store, Walmart, etc. to see if I can find another bin that is slightly smaller and fits the space better. Has anyone else dealt with this and if yes, could you share (and spare me the footwork of shopping). Please share any other solutions for this space. Thanks!

We had the same container in our 25. I’m wondering if you had a bad one to begin with. The only time ours would get stuck is if we over filled it with blankets. At that point your fighting the top rubbing on the bottom of the mattress board and bottom rubbing against the frame and door. Other than that it was fine.

Thanks for relating your experience. My container has been difficult to pull out from the very beginning, always a struggle. There was also another one above it which I removed on day 1 because it was almost impossible to pull out. I wonder now if it's the bin or the space that it fits in. I think I might try cloth/rope-type containers with side handles. Thanks again.
