Ready to full time!

Just returned from a four week, 6,533 mile trip in the Bambi. South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and points in between. What fun! My first over land trip out west and the first long haul in the Bambi. Bambi performed fine, despite the sometimes adverse road conditions. Four days out and 2,000 miles from home I could not get Bambi to draw electicity. Thanks to a swell mobile RV repair man, the problem was quickly identified and repaired. All three wires in the land line had become disengaged from the adaptor that connects to the coach. Lucky they did not touch. Might have shorted.

Will follow up later with pictures of other AS's spotted along the way, comments on campgrounds, the sights I saw and other misc. info.

I don't want to go back to work! Ready to move into the Bambi....

Wow, sounds like a great trip! Glad to hear you overcame your only hardship - what an odd thing to happen. Can't wait to hear more. How many days were you out?

Stephanie:

I was out four weeks, so 28 days. Did 8 National Parks; Badlands, Black Hills (Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memeorial, etc.), Devils Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Mesa Verde and the Great Sand Dunes. WOW, what a great country!

So thankful to have an RV! And such a nice one! Lots of comments and questions about and tours of the Bambi given along the way!!

Hi Paul,

Glad you had a great time out West in your new Bambi. I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures.
Check out all the old Maupin family pictures on EBAY. Maybe some of your relatives.
