Quirky Hotels

I did, and I would like to do most of them...maybe not the Bates though...too weird. Mrs. Bauxter wants to do the lighthouses, but I am thinking aluminum.

We have been to The Shady Dell in Bisbee many times...they used to have 3 or 4 RV sites that they rented out to those with their own rigs, but they don't after that any longer...We were lucky to be there when they still did that. (See our travel log below for more pictures.) The owners, Justin and Jen, are great people and they have really gone all out to furnish their vintage trailers (of several brands, including Airstream) in period-correct furnishings, etc... It's a very popular place to stay in Bisbee and makes for a fun time. Here's their website: http://www.theshadydell.com/

Been there.
Peeked in all the unrented trailers.
My wife and I thought it was a fun, whimsical idea.
Since we had our own quirky 1976 Airstream parked in Tombstone, we saw no reason to spend the night.
