pull safari through downtown Chicago for sites

we've visited many States from Virginia to Arizona. mountains highways and back roads during past 9 years. A few flats, dodged orange barrels, Oklahoma City in heavy rain night time travels but plenty of good friends and places.
In couple of weeks its heading from Shipshewanna Ind toward Green Bay and into UP. Heck easy way is head start up through lower Michigan but want to see and visit the shore line of Chicago. the 97 25 ft safari" goes where its toad to".
GPS suggests 80-90-94 etc. no hurry on our part. just take in the Windy City sites.
Highway 41 appears to be that route.
Any thoughts from you cubbies?

The outer drive is rte 41 that runs parallel to Lqke Mich. it is restricted to trailers & trucks..... no leeway.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. Featherbedder is right, you cannot tow on Lake Shore Drive, you will have to take I-94 to "see" the city, or bypass it on 294 or 355.

But you might be able to stay at McCormick Place if you want to really see the city. This thread has a lot of good information, I just don't know if it is open due to Covid. https://www.airforums.com/forums/f42...go-181527.html
