Protect your cornhole bags from rodents
As we learned on one of our trips this year, always protect your Cornhole bags! We put our new set under the trailer and tossed the bags in one of the boards. The next morning I walked outside to see the bags drug out of their original spot strung across the campsite! The bags were in good shape and I thought we had all of them. Upon inventory, the rodents had gotten away with one of them and left us with just 7 bags!! Hope they had a good meal with that dried corn.
Just a camping reminder. Protect your cornhole bags.. critters like 'em!
cheers,
yakman

Cornhole or "cornholing" is presently under consideration for the 2024 Olympic summer games.

adults and kids
This is a yard game that both adults and kids love to play. Kinda like horseshoes, but you use a slanted board with a hole in the middle of the top. The bags are weighted with corn for good throwing. You can google it! Too fun.
We take our ladderball set to use and we have not yet purchased the Washer toss game, but that may be something we make. Lots of summer fun!

Just like beer - don't waste good corn by throwing it about.
Use beans!

Am I the only one on AirForums that knows what this term is slang for? Cannot believe that someone actually gave this name to a "family" game!

As Sgt. Schultz said..."I know NOTHING."
I was not about to be drawn into this discussion....Janet will throw me out again....I had an entirely different take on this question. They should rename the game.

I've come to the conclusion that the person who named this game either
A. Led a very sheltered life.
or
B. Is somewhere laughing his cornhole holder off.
Not sure which.

Corn hole (or corn toss) is a popular game in the midwest sport bars and RV clubs, In a slightly smaller version it is called Baggo. I made the mistake of storing mine in the Airstream over the winter and fed a whole family of rodents. They chewed through the plastic container I had the bags stored in. I guess I will store them in he house next winter or in a metal container. One of those metal round canister that British cookies come in should do it.

I wasn't going to say a word ... but I'm relieved to know I was NOT the only one who did a double-take!

I just finished making 8 new bags!! Darn squirrels chewed every one of them by the time I caught them! I'm hoping they do not like black beans which was my new stuffing of choice all measured down to the exact ounce . I will be sure to have them stored from now on in a tin till next play. Cornhole ...we call it Baggo up here!
