Portland, Oregon urban parks

Does anyone out there have any recommendations for RV sites in metro Portland or nearby? I will need to stay a week while hubbie is flyfishing so don't want to go too remote. Thanks!

There are a lot of nice areas to camp just outside Portland. Where will your husband be fishing at? As in, do you want to be on the West side, east side, north or south?

He is actually flying out to Alaska from Portland and I'm thinking being somewhere between Portland and the Willamette valley wineries would be a nice location. I've googled some sites but there aren't too many current reviews.

Champoeg State Park would be a good choice. Not too close and not too far from the freeway.

I'd vote for Champoeg too. Gets you closer to the wineries, but still close enough to head into town and enjoy the urban side of Portland, or even head to the beach for the day. Lots to do in the area.
