Pink flamingos

We left Bayfield Wisconsin on 10 June in our 2015 23D Airstream and have made it to Moab Utah!!! Beautiful!!! Yesterday while in Fruita we were informed that Donald Featherstone (the creator of the pink flamingos) passed away at 79 years old. We carry two of the pink flamingos with us so while at Fruita we had to get a picture of the flamingo and the Airstream in remembrance of Donald.
We have been on the road for two weeks and the airstream tows and performs like a dream. We have two weeks in Moab and then on to Yosemite for a week. Not planning on heading home until mid August. Newly retired and enjoying as much of this country as we can. Hope to see some of you in our travels.

We visited Capitol Reef in April-- very cold and windy back then! One of the less visited but equally beautiful southern Utah parks.

Hi Len n Jeanne. Has been in the low 100's here. The evenings a pleasant 60. Moab for a week and Bryce area for a week. Beautiful.
